Privacy Policy

Last updated: TBC — to be set at launch

1. Who we are

Fixbooks is job and booking software for home services trades — plumbing, electrical, heating, handyman, repairs, gardening and cleaning — and is part of the VERO platform.

The data controller for this website is TBC (company name, registered address and ICO registration number to be confirmed before launch). Until those details are published, please treat this policy as a draft.

For any privacy question, contact us at support@fixbooks.net.

2. What we collect

This website is a pre-launch marketing site. The only personal data we collect through it is what you choose to give us:

  • Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
  • Any information you include when you email us directly.
  • Standard technical data your browser sends, such as IP address and user agent, which our hosting provider logs.

3. Job addresses and photos

Customer addresses, job photos and signed job sheets live inside the Fixbooks product, not on this marketing website. Where the product handles them, the trade using it is the controller of that data and we act as their processor.

4. How we use your data

We use your email address to tell you when Fixbooks opens up, to send early-access invitations, and to answer anything you ask us.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We are not a lead-generation business and we do not sell enquiries on.

5. Legal basis

Where you join the waitlist, we rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove you, and we will.

Where you contact us with a question, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you.

6. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to ask for it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email support@fixbooks.net. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the details above are confirmed and whenever our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
